2010 Championship Final - 27th & 28th August 2010
Results from Friday Qualifying
Friday 27th August Open Men's Qualifying
The Championship kicked off with 17 of Australia's best longdrivers, fighting it out to see who would be crowned the victor, and who will represent Australia in the 2010 RE/MAX World Longdrive Championship in Mesquite, NEVADA USA!
Round 1 Open Men's: Players were pooled off into three pools: RE/MAX, Suzuki & Shark, named proudly after our main sponsors in 2010. In the first round the top 4 in each pool advanced to the round 3 winners pools (Yellow), with the remaining dropping down to the round 2 "the second chance draw". Notables in this round were Daniel Lee with the Longest Drive in Round 1 with a 321.7m and Ben Dyer in Pool "SHARK" with the only Drive over 300m! |

Round 3, 4 players from each pool advance through to round 5 with losers bowing down to round 4, to play for second chance. In Round 2, it was unfortunate to see some our newest competitors exit the Championship in round 2, but we know Shane and Dylan will be back in 2011 for more! |

Round 4&5 In round 4, it was crucial for these players to perform, as only the top 3 out of 7 would advance, leaving 4 players to exit the championship. Here we lost some big names including Iain Dick, Mark Sanford and RWLCA Senior Tour Champion; Simon Abbott, very tough pool.
Round 5 saw the top 5 players move straight into the Top 8 finals with the usual suspects achieving this act. The remaining players would get a second chance in the last qualifying pool in round 6.
It was Brendan Moylan in round 5, who hit the Longest drive of the Championship with a massive 341.2 metre drive in trying conditions!
